Duties and Responsibilities
As a Technical Team Lead, you will supervise a team of technical support agents while ensuring high service quality and operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will include:
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Guide, mentor, and support technical support agents
- Conduct one-on-one meetings, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions
- Track and improve key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction (CSAT), response times, and resolution times
- Identify skill gaps and organize targeted training programs
Technical Oversight
- Act as the main escalation point for advanced technical issues
- Assist with troubleshooting WordPress-related challenges, including:
- Core system issues
- Plugin and theme conflicts
- Website performance optimization
- Resolve hosting-related concerns such as DNS, SSL, CDN, and caching issues
- Ensure support tickets are handled efficiently and accurately
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
- Review ticket quality and provide constructive feedback
- Identify recurring technical issues and perform root cause analysis
- Improve workflows, internal documentation, and knowledge base usage
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain high service standards
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a communication link between the company and client stakeholders
- Participate in regular client meetings and performance discussions
- Provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
Operational Excellence
- Manage team schedules, workload distribution, and productivity
- Ensure compliance with service-level agreements (SLAs)
- Support onboarding and training of new team members

Experience Required
- 3 to 5+ years of experience in technical support, preferably in hosting or SaaS environments
- 1 to 2+ years in a leadership, senior, or subject matter expert role
- Experience supporting WordPress hosting platforms is highly preferred
- Experience working with remote teams or international clients
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of the WordPress ecosystem
- Understanding of Linux-based hosting environments
