Duties and Responsibilities
The selected candidate will handle a wide range of responsibilities across business development, financial performance, and compliance:
Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance brokers to achieve targeted premium growth
- Manage sales pipelines, including processing and sharing quotations with brokers within agreed timelines
- Develop and implement service level agreements (SLAs) to enhance service delivery
- Work closely with underwriting teams across branches to meet service standards
- Promote cross-selling opportunities within corporate and public sector segments
- Conduct market research through various sources to stay informed about industry trends
- Identify new business opportunities by analyzing competitor activities and market conditions
- Organize and manage market intelligence data for strategic use
Financial Management
- Deliver set financial targets, including Gross Written Premium (GWP) and loss ratio goals
- Monitor and manage broker-related debt in line with company standards
- Control expenses related to travel, events, and promotional activities
- Plan and allocate budgets for marketing and brand-related initiatives
Operations & Compliance
- Stay updated on industry regulations and internal policies affecting business operations
