Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, the Director, Accreditation and Quality Assurance will lead accreditation activities and ensure high standards in examination processes. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating accreditation assessments, monitoring visits, and periodic reviews
  • Overseeing quality assurance processes across examination operations
  • Analyzing examination results and preparing performance reports with recommendations
  • Reviewing internal controls to maintain examination security and integrity
  • Supervising implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System
  • Leading the development and enforcement of accreditation policies
  • Guiding the formulation and review of accreditation criteria and standards
  • Coordinating preparation of guidelines for syllabus delivery in accredited institutions
  • Ensuring institutions comply with accreditation standards
  • Communicating accreditation decisions and findings to applicants
  • Promoting public awareness of accredited training institutions
  • Managing risks associated with accreditation and quality assurance processes

Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • At least fifteen (15) years of cumulative work experience, including three (3) years at Deputy Director level or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Education, Finance, Law, ICT, Forensic Examination, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution
  • Membership in a relevant professional body in good standing (where applicable)
  • Leadership course certificate lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
  • Valid practicing certificate where applicable
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Proven managerial and professional competence demonstrated through work performance

Salary & Benefits (Estimated Range)

Basic Salary Scale:

Five (5) year contract, renewable once subject to satisfactory performance.
