Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, the Director, Examinations Management will oversee the planning, coordination, and secure administration of examinations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating examination administration in consultation with relevant authorities
  • Ensuring adherence to examination policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Preparing and reviewing reports on examination activities
  • Organizing bi-annual training workshops for chief invigilators and examination coordinators
  • Supervising the secure delivery of examination scripts to marking centres
  • Overseeing collection and management of students’ biometric data
  • Managing printing and issuance of examination certificates
  • Coordinating the preparation and release of confirmation and exemption letters
  • Overseeing risk management in all examination processes and result processing

Requirements / Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of cumulative work experience, including at least three (3) years at Deputy Director level or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Education, Finance, Law, ICT, Forensic Examination, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution
  • Membership in a relevant professional body in good standing (where applicable)
  • A leadership course certificate lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution
  • Valid practicing certificate where applicable
  • Proficiency in computer applications
  • Proven managerial and professional competence demonstrated through work performance

Salary & Benefits (Estimated Range)
