About Turkana County
The County Government’s Act of 2012 of the Kenyan Constitution (2010) established 47 county governments, including the County Government of Turkana.
Jeremiah Ekamais Lomorukai Napotikan, the governor, and Dr. John Lopeyok Erus, the deputy governor, oversee the County Executive and carry out development initiatives that benefit the populace.
The County Government Headquarters is situated in Lodwar Town, and its offices can be found in Turkana Central Sub County’s Kanamkemer Ward, off Nawoitorong Road.
