Duties and Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Set, implement, and maintain customer service standards for different market segments
- Track customer complaints, identify patterns, and resolve root causes to prevent repeat issues
Operational Risk & Controls
- Maintain a strong operational control framework with clear segregation of duties
- Ensure full compliance with operational controls, especially KYC requirements
- Monitor and enforce controls across all operational processes
People Management
- Assign responsibilities aligned with service standards and business goals
- Evaluate staff performance, support professional development, and promote staff well-being
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and the Code of Banking Practice
Operational Efficiency
- Manage transaction-related banking income and control branch operating costs
- Improve systems and workflows to achieve cost-effective service delivery
- Align staff numbers with productivity and performance targets
Problem Solving & Decision Making
- Analyze operational issues and manage risks with limited information when required
- Develop practical solutions and recommend improved ways of working
- Apply sound judgment, banking knowledge, and timely decision-making
Planning & Strategy
- Implement service strategies and contribute to medium-term branch business planning

Requirements / Qualifications
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field from a recognized institution
- Banking or Finance professional certification is an added advantage
Experience
- At least five (5) years of experience in a similar operational role
- Strong background in branch operations and customer service
- Proven experience managing diverse teams and operational activities
