Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will perform a wide range of responsibilities across investment management, research, and client engagement:
Investment Management
- Execute investment strategies in line with client Investment Policy Statements (IPS)
- Manage assigned portfolios and aim to achieve returns above benchmark targets
- Implement decisions from the investment committee in a timely manner
- Monitor portfolio performance and rebalance assets when necessary
- Ensure all investment activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Prepare performance reports in line with Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)
- Follow professional ethical standards in all investment activities
Research and Analysis
- Develop financial models and conduct valuations for listed and unlisted companies
- Prepare investment reports and recommendations for decision-making
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators such as inflation, interest rates, and economic growth
- Maintain updated research databases and market intelligence reports
- Participate in regular investment review meetings
- Coordinate meetings with potential investment partners and issuers
Business Development
- Manage relationships with existing clients to maintain and grow business
- Support presentations to potential clients and stakeholders
- Identify new opportunities for expanding the client base
- Stay updated on market trends to support the development of new investment products
Reporting and Relationship Management
- Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports for clients, including portfolio performance and market updates

- Present investment strategies to client committees, trustees, and stakeholders
- Maintain strong relationships with brokers, analysts, and other market participants
Administration and Compliance
- Ensure all investment-related documentation is accurate and up to date
- Work with operations teams to manage fees and financial transactions
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and internal risk management frameworks
- Identify and manage risks associated with investment activities
