Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support SME relationship management through the following key duties:
Sales and Customer Service
- Conduct annual and periodic reviews of customer borrowing facilities based on risk profiles
- Advise business owners on financial matters, credit management, and general business practices
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding service standards, pricing, and banking solutions
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
- Identify and recommend suitable banking products based on customer needs
- Support both proactive and reactive sales of banking products
- Ensure adherence to service quality and risk standards
Controls and Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking products, services, and credit standards
- Support the preparation of credit applications and business plans
- Perform basic credit analysis and maintain updated client records
- Ensure audit issues are resolved within agreed timelines
- Support initiatives aimed at achieving zero operational losses
- Promote customer digitization and ensure adherence to impairment targets
Business Management
- Monitor the quality and performance of the SME portfolio
- Identify early warning signs in high-risk accounts and take appropriate action
- Follow internal guidelines and procedures for portfolio management
- Support risk mitigation strategies in line with bank policies
Staff Support
- Assist Enterprise Bankers and branch teams in delivering consistent service
- Support team activities and business operations as required
- Manage personal work schedules, including leave planning
Risk and Compliance
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Identify, assess, and manage risks related to SME clients and lending
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting standards
