About UNSSC
The United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC) is an interagency learning and training center that provides services to UN and its affiliate personnel.
Through learning, training, and information sharing, the organization hopes to support a more efficient, results-driven, and adaptable United Nations.
UNSSC’s learning and knowledge initiatives have been focused on helping the UN system find creative solutions to meet the demands of the difficulties presented by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development ever since it was established in 2015.
Since at least 1969, when the viability of establishing a staff college started to be investigated, there has been discussion about the creation of an organization to provide training for UN personnel. The General Assembly gave its preliminary approval in 1971 to the establishment of a new staff college for UN personnel.
