Duties and Responsibilities
As part of a growing private finance team, the selected candidate will contribute to strengthening healthcare systems by unlocking financing opportunities. Key responsibilities include:
- Build and manage a pipeline of high-potential private healthcare businesses across sub-Saharan Africa
- Conduct market analysis to understand financing challenges affecting health service providers
- Engage healthcare businesses in areas such as diagnostics, primary care, pharmacy, and supply chains
- Establish relationships with investors, banks, and development finance institutions
- Design and implement innovative financing models, including blended finance and risk-sharing mechanisms
- Support pilot financing programs and monitor their performance and impact
- Assist healthcare companies in becoming investment-ready through financial modeling and strategy development
- Prepare investment documents such as investor presentations, data rooms, and financial plans

Requirements / Qualifications
