Duties and Responsibilities
Sales and Customer Relationship Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and corporate clients, particularly those linked to the China Desk
- Build strong, long-term relationships by delivering reliable and responsive banking solutions
- Achieve annual financial targets, including revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion
- Maintain portfolio quality by keeping risks within acceptable limits
- Enhance customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and engagement strategies
- Develop and maintain detailed customer account plans for all assigned clients
- Conduct regular reviews of both borrowing and non-borrowing customer accounts
- Identify suitable banking products and promote them based on client needs
- Address customer concerns and resolve complaints promptly
- Identify new business opportunities and actively pursue potential clients
Business Development and Portfolio Management
- Create and manage a pipeline of prospective clients for business growth
- Prioritize high-value clients based on their current and potential contribution
- Prepare and support credit applications by collecting and analyzing required information
- Work closely with internal teams such as relationship managers and credit managers
- Ensure full compliance with bank policies, procedures, and service-level agreements
- Monitor portfolio performance and take proactive steps to manage risks
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on processes and policies
Team Leadership and Support
- Guide and mentor Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs)
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment within the bank

Requirements / Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field from a recognized university
- Additional professional qualifications will be an advantage
Experience
